Polyester Filter Bag – An Optimal Choice for Ambient Temperature Dust Collection

Polyester filter bags are primarily made from polyester fibers through a needle-punching nonwoven process. They feature excellent wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and stable operation at temperatures up to 120 °C, making them suitable for dust filtration in medium-to-low-temperature environments.

We offer various post-treatment options, including membrane lamination, anti-static treatment, and oil- and water-repellent finishes, providing flexible customization services to meet diverse customer requirements.

Features
  • High dust removal efficiency. Dust removal efficiency ≥ 99.5%, with dust emission concentration ≤ 5 mg/m3.
  • Good temperature resistance. Continuous operating temperature up to 120 °C, and peak temperature up to 150 °C.
  • Excellent wear resistance. Polyester fiber provides good wear resistance and is suitable for applications with abrasive dust.
  • Acid and alkali resistance. Resistant to common weak acids and weak alkalis, but not suitable for exposure to strong acid or strong alkali gases.
  • High cost performance. More economical than high-temperature-resistant or specialty fiber filter bags, making it ideal for large-scale use.
Structure

The dust collector filter bag primarily consists of a bag opening, bag body, and bag bottom. The bag body is made from fibers through a needle-punch nonwoven process, forming a three-layer structure: fiber layer – base fabric – fiber layer.

Principle

When dust-laden airflow passes through the filter bag, dust is retained on the outer surface of the filter bag (surface filtration) or within the filter material (depth filtration), while clean air passes through the medium and is discharged through the outlet.
