Aramid Filter Bag – Optimal Choice for Dust Filtration in High-Temperature and Corrosive Environments

Made from aromatic polyamide (aramid) fibers through a needle-punching process, aramid filter bags are designed for high-temperature dust collection. They can operate reliably at 204 °C, with a peak operating temperature of up to 230 °C. Featuring excellent high-temperature resistance, flame retardancy, and corrosion resistance, they are widely used for flue gas filtration in demanding environments with high temperature, heavy load, and corrosive dust conditions.

Features
  • High temperature resistance. Continuous operation at 204 °C, with peak temperatures up to 230 °C.
  • Wear resistance. Suitable for high-intensity reverse air cleaning conditions, extending filter bag service life.
  • Corrosion resistance. Certain resistance to neutral and mildly acidic or alkaline environments.
  • Flame retardancy. Inherent flame-retardant properties of aramid fibers; neither combustible nor supportive of combustion.
Structure

The dust collector filter bag primarily consists of a bag opening, bag body, and bag bottom. The bag body is made from fibers through a needle-punch nonwoven process, forming a three-layer structure: fiber layer – base fabric – fiber layer.

Principle

When dust-laden airflow passes through the filter bag, dust is retained on the outer surface of the filter bag (surface filtration) or within the filter material (depth filtration), while clean air passes through the medium and is discharged through the outlet.
